These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FaceGauge mobile application and any related websites, features, and services (together, the "Service"). In these Terms, "FaceGauge", "we", "us", and "our" refers to the operator of the Service.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must comply with all laws that apply to you when using the Service. You are responsible for ensuring the Service is legal to use where you live.
FaceGauge provides automated, educational, and informational content based on images or videos you choose to submit. Outputs include aesthetic observations, scoring, and general suggestions intended for informational purposes only.
FaceGauge is not a medical device and is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical services.
The Service does not provide medical, therapeutic, clinical, or mental health services. Outputs are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional, and you must not rely on outputs to make health or treatment decisions.
Use of the Service does not create any doctor-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-client, or other professional relationship.
The Service uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to generate outputs. You acknowledge and agree that:

To operate the Service, we may process User Content using cloud infrastructure and third-party service providers (including AI providers). This may involve transferring User Content and related data to systems located outside your country.

We take reasonable steps intended to protect data, but no system is completely secure. You acknowledge the inherent risks of transmitting and storing data electronically and agree that you submit User Content at your own discretion and risk.
We may add, remove, or change features, scoring approaches, outputs, and data handling at any time. We may also introduce fees or paid features. If fees apply, we will present pricing and any additional terms at the point of purchase.
If you downloaded the Service from an app store, you also agree to that store's terms. To the extent there is a conflict, these Terms govern the relationship between you and us, and the app store's terms govern your relationship with the app store.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting an updated version in the Service. Continued use after changes takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Australia and New Zealand: These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
United States: These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, excluding conflict of law rules, to the maximum extent permitted. You agree that claims may be brought in the courts of New South Wales, Australia, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
European Union: Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If EU consumer law requires a different governing law or forum for certain disputes, those mandatory rules apply.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use it or submit User Content.
